Terms of Service

1. About the Program

Pinoyshifter is a mentorship program designed to share skills and knowledge in UX Design and Vibe Coding. Our program is idea-driven and hands-on, focused on helping participants develop practical abilities through guided mentorship, real-world projects, and collaborative learning. Pinoyshifter is not an accredited educational institution. We are a community-driven mentorship initiative built on the passion for empowering Filipino creators.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

By enrolling in the Pinoyshifter Mentorship Program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to participate. Enrollment is confirmed only after payment has been received and your application has been accepted.

3. Nature of the Mentorship

This program is a mentorship-only service intended to share skills, knowledge, and creative ideas. It is not a formal education or certification program. Mentors provide guidance, feedback, and hands-on learning experiences to help you grow your abilities in UX Design and Vibe Coding.

4. Certificates

Pinoyshifter is currently undergoing business registration. As such, we are unable to issue certificates of completion at this time. However, we are committed to providing certificates to all qualifying participants once our registration process is finalized. We will follow up with all eligible participants regarding certificate issuance. Enrollment in the program does not guarantee a certificate until this process is complete.

5. Payment & Refund Policy

All fees are listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and are due upon enrollment. Payment covers your selected mentorship track for the specified period.

• Payments are non-refundable once the first mentorship session has been conducted.
• If you wish to cancel before your first session, you may request a full refund by contacting us at pinoyshifter@gmail.com.
• Pinoyshifter reserves the right to modify pricing for future enrollment cycles.

6. Commitment & Attendance

Participants are expected to attend scheduled sessions, complete assigned tasks, and communicate proactively about any scheduling conflicts. Repeated no-shows without prior notice may result in suspension from the program without a refund.

7. Intellectual Property & Ideas

As an idea-driven program, we deeply value your creative work:

• Your ideas are yours. Any original ideas, projects, or concepts you develop during the program remain your intellectual property.
• Program materials are ours. All course materials, templates, guides, and resources provided by Pinoyshifter are for your personal learning use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or shared without written permission.
• Portfolio use. We may request permission to feature anonymized examples of participant work for promotional purposes. This is always optional and requires your explicit consent.

8. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Maintain respectful and professional communication with mentors and fellow participants
• Collaborate in good faith during group activities and hands-on sessions
• Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct

Violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the program without a refund.

9. Confidentiality

Both Pinoyshifter and its participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information, business ideas, project details, and any proprietary content shared during mentorship sessions. This obligation survives the completion or termination of the program.

10. Limitation of Liability

Pinoyshifter provides mentorship guidance, skill-sharing, and learning resources but does not guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, freelance contracts, income, or project success. Results depend on individual effort, dedication, and application of the knowledge gained. Pinoyshifter shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the program.

11. Program Modifications

Pinoyshifter reserves the right to modify the program structure, schedules, content, or mentors as needed to maintain the quality of the mentorship experience. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be communicated to enrolled participants via email. Continued participation in the program after changes are communicated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
